The anthem will be playing on leading TV channels and will also be available on HBL PSL digital platforms throughout the 2021 edition of the most popular Pakistani cricket event of the calendar.
Continuing the rich tradition of entertaining HBL PSL fans with a new anthem for each season, “Groove Mera” refers to the swing and feel of the movements of cricketers. It refers to moments of finesse that one finds in the heart of every cricket match.

The video is from a hotel in Karachi which has also been uploaded on Hareem Shah’s Instagram account where she says, ““I will share the reason for slapping Mufti Qavi soon.”

2021 Is Going to Be the Shortest Year in Decades and Here Is Why?
Research suggests that in the last five decades the Earth is rotating faster than it ever has. This has made experts realize that 2021 could become the shortest year in decades, even shorter than 2020.

Source: Facebook However, this does not mean that we will be celebrating 2022 shortly. In fact, the time difference will be so nominal that we will not be able to notice that. The earth will move faster only a few milliseconds. That is, it!
All this is happening because our planet is moving faster on its axis. This is making days shorter and no one exactly knows the reason behind it yet.
Scientists believe that a number of factors are responsible for this difference including motion of the Earth’s molten core, its atmosphere and the oceans.
Understanding Time
One day is the time required by the Earth to complete its rotation around the sun. In order to measure this time period, experts have come up with hours, minutes and seconds.
It is anticipated that a day will be 0.05 milliseconds shorter than a regular 24-hour day in 2021 because of the Earth’s fast speed.

Source: Facebook Understanding Leap Years and Leap Seconds
The concept of leap years is known to many of us. in leap years, after every four years, a day is added to February to ensure we match the pace of the Earth.
Similar to the concept of leap years, leap seconds were introduced and since 1972, 27 leap seconds have been added to our clocks. However, since 2016, no leap seconds have been added because the earth is now moving a little bit slower.
It is said, that if the situation goes around like this, we will soon have to take away a leap second from our clocks to match the movement of the earth.
Thinking about how this will be done? Let us leave this to the experts!

Though Guddi and Adam have just started to fall in love, it would be interesting to see where it heads in the upcoming episodes.
The drama is so well-executed and well-written, it gives the vibes of old PTV dramas that we thought will never come back, but it is. Huge round of applause for Urwa and Imran for acting brilliantly. A highly recommended drama you shouldn’t miss out on.

How to Make Perfume Last Longer
What is the use of that charming personality when you are not smelling nice? You may be showering your favourite perfume again and again, but sadly, it is just a short fix. A better solution is to use the right amount of perfume with tricks that will make it last longer.
Moisturize Skin Before Applying Perfume
You can never go wrong with a little moisturizer as it helps locking in the perfume better. Use an unscented moisturizer to avoid mixing up two fragrances.
Use Perfume After Shower
Hygiene is important but it is even more important when you are about to apply a perfume. A clean and dry body ensures that you smell nice throughout the day, without any body or sweat smell.
Keep Perfumes Away from Heat
Perfumes that are kept in dry and cool places tend to last longer because their quality and molecular structure remain intact. The same perfume will lose its fragrance when placed under the sunlight or at a damped shelf.
Use Hairbrush to Scent Your Hair
Who does not like good smelling hair? The best way to do so is by spraying a little amount of your favourite perfume on your hairbrush and then combing the hair with it. Your hair will smell good the whole day without any damage because you are using a brush to scent your hair.
Do Not Rub
Rubbing perfume can break down its chemical composition, causing the fragrance to go away fast. Instead of rubbing, try dabbing gently and experience the difference yourself.
When you apply perfume the right way, you end up smelling good all the time. Above all, you do not have to apply it again and again.
Do you agree with all these hacks? Want to share something, please drop it in the comments.

The Love Story Finally Begins! Raqs e Bismil – Episode 4 Review
This was a much-awaited episode, thanks to the last epidode where Zohra finally reveals her true identity to Moosa. Now the audience was eagerly waiting to see how Moosa will react to this reality. This episode shows that there is no going back for Moosa. On the other hand, Zohra, too, seems to be liking him, which is a bit off as she gave the impression of being a hard-to-get person. Esa and Sakina are two more characters who are coming in the limelight with each episode.
Raqs-e-Bismil | Episode 4 | Digitally Presented By Master Paints | HUM TV | Drama | 15 January 2021

Moosa is still struggling to name his feelings for Zohra. At one point, he does confess his love for her though. This is against his own beliefs and is contrary to picture of the woman he imagined he would fall in love with. Turns out, Moosa is head over heels in love with Zohra, even after knowing everything about her. In order to find out answers to his questions, Moosa even agrees to pay for a meeting with his love. It would be interesting to see how Ana Ji handles this situation further as she has already got an idea about what is cooking.
Sakina’s character is a bit smarter than the audience anticipated. She is capable of manipulating people and this is exactly what she is doing with Esa. Esa, who has started liking her, is falling for her tricks.
Raqs e Bismil reflects the dual standards we have for male and female in our society. Like when Sakina was in a similar situation, Pir Sahab behaved differently and now with Moosa, he appears to be more relaxed. Also, Pir Sahab is such an influential figure in his area, yet he went to get his son released, why? This could have easily been done via a phone call.
It is needless to say that Moosa and Esa are two characters who are doing exceptionally good acting. Zohra seemed a little bit less impressive today but Sakina surprised everyone with her performance. Looking forward the next episode now.

Muhammad Ayan and Muhammad Aman 9-Month-Old Conjoined Twins Successfully Separated in Pakistan
[Karachi 15 January 2021] Muhammad Ayan and Muhammad Aman, born as conjoined twins to Mr. and Mrs. Israr Ahmed, are now living as two healthy children after a successful separation surgery performed at the Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) on 12 December 2020.
Ayan and Aman were Omphalopagus type of conjoined twins, in which the bodies of the two are joined at the abdomen and several internal organs are shared, including liver and sometimes the intestines. The twin brothers shared a small portion of the liver.

Credit: AKUH ‘It was an extremely challenging journey for us. Before coming to AKUH, I had a dream that Ayan and Aman were separate. That dream gave me hope’, said Israr, while narrating the events that led him to AKUH. ‘My family and I were convinced that this hospital is for the rich and receiving treatment from here will never be a possibility for us. But, my Allah made the Aga Khan University Hospital the saviour of my children. The doctors told us to not worry about the expenses, as they would be taken care of by the Patient Welfare Programme.’
Conjoined twinning is a very rare congenital anomaly, with an overall incidence of 1 in 250,000 births. This happens when the embryo does not separate successfully in the mother’s womb to form two individuals. Although there is no known cause for the conjoining, it can be diagnosed early in the pregnancy through an ultrasound.
While surgery is the only method of separating the conjoined twins, it cannot be performed in all cases. This is because the complexity of and survival rates after the surgery depends primarily upon the joining sites and the type and number of organs joined internally.

Credit: AKUH To perform this exceptionally difficult surgery, a multi-disciplinary team of highly skilled healthcare experts came together to meticulously plan and organise their efforts. These teams included Doctors, Nurses and Technicians from Paediatric Surgery, Anaesthesiology, and Radiology amongst active participants, and Gastrointestinal Surgery and Neurosurgery amongst those on stand-by. The nature of this surgery is such that it demands double the amount of resources and concurrent functioning of all teams to manage and save both lives.
Prior to the surgery, an advanced imaging and three-dimensional prototyping was used to fully understand the nature of the conjoining, expertise required and necessary reshuffling of the resources. Dr. Zafar Nazir, Paediatric Surgeon at the Aga Khan University Hospital, led the efforts to perform the 8 hour-long surgery with the support of over 50 clinical and administrative staff.
‘This is a rare surgery that the Hospital has performed for the second time. A tremendous amount of effort went in to the rearrangement of the resources, both inside and outside the Operating Room. But, at the end of this procedure, it was a joy to watch both the boys get a new life’, commented Dr. Zafar Nazir as he recalled the events of the treatment.
The role of the anaesthesiologists was of great significance, as they had to ensure that both the babies were stable throughout the procedure. ‘The perioperative care of Ayan and Aman was like no other. As they were joined at the torso and facing each other, a complete incision required flipping them around. Therefore, we could not have intubated them, as it would have hampered the movement. We opted for an intravenous drug and ensured a thoroughly managed sedation throughout the procedure’, recalled Dr. Faisal Shamim, Anaesthesiologist at Aga Khan University Hospital.
Israr Ahmed and his wife are not the only parents to have gone through this pain and suffering of finding the appropriate treatment. There are many such families who are in dire need to receive compassionate care and high-quality treatment. Treating such rare and critical health conditions offers the experts at the Aga Khan University Hospital, a commendable opportunity to test and enhance our systems and capabilities, and learn to design innovative health solutions for our people in Pakistan. But, most importantly, it gives us immense joy to watch distressed families go back home healthy and happy with their loved ones.
